Butterfield 2024 Custom Home Project - Colville, Washington
The Butterfield 2024 Custom Home project is currently on hold while we await necessary engineering approvals. This delay affects our ability to proceed with window installations, insulation, and drywall. Consequently, Intermountain West Insulation and Goad Brothers Drywall have been rescheduled, pushing their work back by a week. The homeowner's MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) subcontractors are ongoing and are expected to get inspections and approvals around the same time we expect engineering approvals. Our schedule reflects that the Butterfield Custom Home should reach the interior finishes stage by October, pending timely engineering and material procurement. Your local custom home builder doing whatever it takes to ensure our homes are elite.
Poling 2024 Design-Build Addition - Colville, Washington
Meanwhile, our focus shifts to the Poling 2024 Design-Build Addition in Colville, Washington. Today, Thursday, August 8, 2024, the crew worked at the shop, preparing to mobilize to the Poling Project site on Monday. The demolition activities will commence next week to prepare for their new addition.
Our primary scheduling goal for the Poling project is to complete the demo, grading, foundation, framing, house wrap, roofing, and window and door installations by October 2024. This timeline is crucial to ensure the project progresses smoothly and meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship. Achieving this milestone will also allow us to move to interior projects during the winter months, limiting the challenges and risks of the crew working outside in freezing weather.
We are gathering competitive numbers from our preferred subcontractors and applying value engineering techniques to ensure the best outcomes for our clients. We met with Northside Heating and Cooling, Norstar Heating and Cooling, Independent Electric, Floener Electric, and Lebo's Plumbing. We expect all their numbers to come in by next week for Mike to scrutinize and measure apples to apples. Our loyalty is to our client to get them the best of the best that matches their desires and fits their budget.
Our schedule reflects that the Poling Addition should reach the interior finishes stage by October, pending unforeseen conditions.
2024 Robertson - Spirit Junction Projects
We are excited to welcome Kim and Dee Robertson to our neighborhood - Hey Neighbors!!
The August 17, 2024 Fire District 10 BBQ will be a great place to say HI! Their Colorado home is listed and they are currently moving in to their new Lexar home at Spirit Junction.
Wethered Timberworks LLC has taken over the fence contract for the Robertson - Spirit Junction Projects. The previous contractor did not complete the work, and hasn't been back, so we will be installing a barbed field fence to meet their needs without further delay. We do not normally do fence projects but if our existing client needs a fence, we will make it happen!
Our subcontractors and crew have finished up the "He" and "She" shed interior contract where we framed in two rooms, the storage loft, drywall, prime, paint, added electrical outlets, lighting, and epoxied the concrete floor inside their new Mortensen building.
Additionally, Mr. Robertson has inquired about sidewalks, steps to their greenhouse, and a solar-powered lifting entrance gate for their driveway. We will be reaching out to Vance Fabrication about the custom gate and researching the best up to date solar-powered lift or vertical gate operators for our climate.
We are also coordinating the Aspen Valley Propane installation, which includes trenching and managing the entire install process.
Welcome to our neighborhood! You have one of the most gorgeous locations in Stevens County~!
A big shout out to our high quality subcontractors who worked this contract and got right on it!
